Prostate cancer is the most common types of cancer in men. Majority of men with prostate cancer do not die from it. A lots of factors can affect a man’s risk of developing prostate cancer. We are going to look at some causes ,keep reading.

What is prostate cancer?

Prostate cancer is a type of cancer that forms in the small gland in the male reproductive system. The small gland, prostate is located just below the bladder and in front of the rectum. The prostate produces the fluid that carries sperm during ejaculation called semen.

Prostate cancer usually occurs in older men. It is the second most common type of cancer in men, after skin cancer.

There are several risk factors for prostate cancer, including age, family history, and race. African-American men are more likely to develop prostate cancer than white men. Men with a family history of prostate cancer are also at higher risk.

Causes of Prostate Cancer

According to research,there is no exactly what causes prostate cancer. But they have found some risk factors and are trying to learn just how these factors might cause prostate cells to become cancer cells.

Primarily, prostate cancer is caused by changes in the DNA of a normal prostate cell. Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person's body has the same DNA We usually look like our parents because they are the source of our DNA.
