GUNMEN HIT OWO WEEKS AFTER ATTACK ON CATHOLIC CHURCH

 Almost two months after nearly 40 worshippers were gunned down in a Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, the local area has gone under pressure again as another tragedy hit the town.


At the Folahami junction of the town, where Craneburg Construction Company was located, the unknown gunmen were said to have started shooting at everybody without hesitation.

A source informed DEE BLACK that during the incident, the shooters additionally set off explosives devices.

It was reported few weeks ago that,some suspected terrorists went after St. Francis Catholic Church in the town killing nothing less than 40 worshippers.

With the specific number of casualties not yet known, many individuals were said to be harmed in the incident.

SP Funmilayo Odunlami, the Police Public Relations Officer PPRO confirmed the incident, and additionally expressed that a few people were harmed in the attack.

She added that it was as yet unclear wether the culprits were terrorists or just bandits.
