The Ogere Unit Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps in the Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State said that it has given N310,700 and other goods to the families of crash victims.
This information was released in a statement on Wednesday by Florence Okpe, the FRSC Public Education Officer for the Ogun Sector Command.
According to Okpe, the crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway before the Iperu Bridge happened at around 6:25 am, killing four people and injuring six others.
The FRSC Ogere command, according to her, "exhibited professionalism in the rescue operation by taking the injured victims for medical attention, putting the dead in the morgue, and also calling the relatives of the crash victims to come over and reclaim the properties recovered from the N310,700 accident.
Mr Afolabi Sikiru, the relative of Mr Idris Bello, who died in the crash, received N268,800 and a bag containing clothes.
"Another sum of N41,900 was also given to Mr Falase, the husband of one of the survivors."
